Welcome to Rentai Monthly Car Rental! By using our services, website, and renting vehicles from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before making a reservation. These terms are legally binding and govern the relationship between Rentai and our customers.

1. General Rental Requirements

  • Renters must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid UAE driver’s license or an internationally accepted driving license.
  • Renters must provide valid identification, such as a passport or Emirates ID, and a valid driver’s license at the time of booking or vehicle collection.
  • Rentai reserves the right to verify the eligibility of the renter before confirming the booking.

2. Rental Duration

  • The minimum rental period is 30 days (monthly rental).
  • Extensions to rental periods must be requested and confirmed at least 48 hours prior to the agreed return date.
  • Early returns will not result in any refund or discount for unused days unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Vehicle Collection and Return

  • Vehicles must be picked up and returned at the agreed time and location, as specified in the rental agreement.
  • Late returns beyond the agreed rental period will incur additional charges. A grace period of 2 hours may be granted at Rentai’s discretion.
  • Renters must return the vehicle in the same condition it was provided, with the same fuel level.

4. Vehicle Usage

  • The rented vehicle may only be driven by the person(s) listed in the rental agreement.
  • Renters must not use the vehicle for illegal activities, off-road driving (unless the vehicle is specified for off-road use), racing, or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • The renter must comply with UAE traffic laws at all times, including speed limits, parking regulations, and other driving rules.

5. Insurance and Liability

  • The rental includes basic insurance as required by UAE law, which covers third-party liability.
  • Renters may be offered additional insurance options, such as comprehensive insurance with a reduced or zero deductible for damage or theft. It is the renter’s responsibility to choose and accept the desired level of coverage.
  • In the event of an accident, theft, or damage, the renter must immediately inform Rentai and file a police report. Failure to provide a police report may result in the renter being held liable for full damages.
  • Renters are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle, up to the full value of the car, unless covered by insurance.

6. Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit will be required at the start of the rental period, typically by credit or debit card.
  • The security deposit covers potential damages, traffic fines, and any unpaid charges. The deposit will be refunded after the rental period ends, subject to any deductions for damages, fines, or additional costs incurred during the rental.
  • The refund process may take up to 30 days, depending on the bank’s policies.

7. Fuel Policy

  • The vehicle will be provided with a certain level of fuel, as stated in the rental agreement. The renter must return the vehicle with the same fuel level.
  • Rentai may charge for fuel shortages at the prevailing market rate, plus a refueling fee.

8. Traffic Fines and Violations

  • The renter is responsible for any traffic fines, parking tickets, or violations incurred during the rental period.
  • If any fines or violations are incurred, Rentai will charge the renter for the full amount of the fine, plus an administrative fee.
  • Traffic violations are reported by Dubai authorities, and Rentai may receive fines after the rental period has ended. In such cases, the renter’s deposit or payment method will be used to settle the fines.

9. Payment Terms

  • The rental fee must be paid in advance before the vehicle is released to the renter.
  • Payments can be made by credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.
  • Renters agree to cover any bank fees or processing charges related to payment transactions.
  • If payment is not received on time, Rentai reserves the right to cancel the reservation or suspend services.

10. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the rental start date will be eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental start date may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to one day’s rental.
  • No-shows or failure to collect the vehicle will result in a non-refundable charge for the full rental amount.

11. Vehicle Maintenance

  • Rentai ensures that all vehicles are regularly serviced and maintained according to industry standards.
  • Renters are responsible for routine checks during the rental period (e.g., oil level, tire pressure, etc.) and must report any issues to Rentai immediately.
  • In the event of a breakdown or malfunction, Rentai will provide roadside assistance at no extra charge.

12. Amendments to Terms

  • Rentai reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to future rentals.
  • Continued use of Rentai services after such amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
  • Any disputes arising from or related to this agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.
